Whatever your decorating project, we can help provide you with the right products to complete the work to a high quality and long-lasting finish.
For indoor walls and ceilings, we carry over 50 colours of Johnstone’s emulsion ‘off the shelf’ in Vinyl Matt and Soft Sheen – and can also supply a Vinyl Silk finish using a Leyland Trade base to make any colour of your choice with our Paint Mixing service.
For internal woodwork such as skirting boards, architraves, windows and doors the choice is even more extensive. Covering a mixture of water-based, oil-based, and acrylics, we stock various specialised primers, undercoats, high gloss, satin and eggshell finishes, to name but a few.
When it comes to natural wood finishes we have a range of stains, treatments, waxes and varnishes for indoor and outdoor usage.

We carry an extensive range of Johnstone’s paints and coatings as our core stock lines, including a comprehensive choice of coloured emulsion paints for walls and ceilings. Our stock range includes:
FOR WALLS & CEILINGS – A wide range of colours in a standard Vinyl Soft Sheen or Vinyl Matt finish, plus Tough Paint Washable / Kitchen / Bathroom paints in more limited colour options. Tester Pots also available.
FOR WOODS & METALS – Paints for INTERIOR usage come in a choice of Quick Dry Satin, Hardwearing Satin, Quick Drying Gloss & Non-Drip Hardwearing Gloss finishes. We also stock a Hardwearing Gloss finish for EXTERIOR use.
OTHER PAINTS, COATINGS & TREATMENTS – Floor Paint, Tile Paint, Cupboard Paint, Chalky Furniture Paint & Damp Proof Paint. Natural wood coatings include Interior Polyurethane Varnish, Woodstain in a variety of colours, Shed & Fence Treatment, ‘Garden Colours‘ paints and Teak Oil.
As well as being the primary base for our Paint Mixing service we also stock a wider selection of the Leyland Trade Paints range. Where available, trade-quality paint is usually the better option as it offers better coverage, higher opacity, and is more durable. Our Leyland Trade stock range includes:

Zinsser is recognised by professional painters and decorators for their range of high-performance, problem-solving primers and specialist paints.
Their product range is great to work with, adheres to any surface, has a quick drying time whilst still providing an exemplary finish, and retains its colour for many years to come.

BULLS EYE 1-2-3, B-I-N, B-I-N AQUA, COVER STAIN – all Interior & Exterior Primer Sealer / Stain Killers – GARDZ, PEEL STOP, PERMA WHITE and ALLCOAT EXTERIOR in Matt & Satin finish.
We stock all of the above paints in 1 ltr size plus offer an alternative smaller (750ml) – or larger (2.5ltr) option, depending on the product.
Celebrating its centenary in 2024, Rustins produce a wide and diverse range of wood finishing products and speciality paints. Our stock range includes:
WOOD TREATMENTS & FINISHING PRODUCTS – Danish Oil, Wood Dye – in a choice of colours, Quick Drying Clear Varnish in a choice of Clear, Matt, Satin or Gloss finishes, Yacht Varnish in a Matt or Gloss finish, Quick Drying Floor Varnish, and Exterior Wood Preserver.
